Previous Commission Action: Commission approved Ordinance 571 on first reading at the February 13, 2024 regular meeting. The Commission previously adopted Ordinance 568 Solid Waste Rates September 2023, Ordinance 567 Water Rates September 2023 and Ordinance 522 Recreation Fees September 2018.
Background/Problem Discussion: Upon review of Appendix B, Staff noted a few changes to propose to the Commission. Water - The annual backflow prevention device maintenance fees are requested to be removed as these devices are owned by the Town. Solid Waste - The previous update to Appendix B - Fee Schedule did not reflect the correct rates for Special Pick ups. Recreation - Recreation fees have not been updated since 2018 and require increases to offset costs.
Expenditure Challenges NA
Financial Implications: The proposed changes to the fees will not significantly impact revenues.
Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of Ordinance 571.
