Special Relief Permit - 2024 Springfest & Arbor Day Celebration
Summary:
The Recreation Department is seeking a special relief permit for their annual Springfest & Arbor Day Celebration. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Dimmitt Community Center and athletic fields. The event will include egg hunts, tree giveaways, touch-a-truck, games, food, bounce houses, and more.
The Recreation Department is requesting temporary closure of Varona Street from 8:00am to 1:00pm. They are also requesting assistance from Public Works, Solid Waste, and Police for event setup and participation in the touch-a-truck activity. Further details and a map of the event can be found in the attached permit application.
