Meeting was called to order at 5:04 PM with Chairman Coletti presiding.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES  
22-0229 Approval of April 18, 2022 Meeting Minutes  
Karla Rettstatt moved approval of the minutes. Seconded by Kathy Hefele.

GENERAL AGENDA  
Park, Recreation, & Tree Board -- May 16, 2022 Meeting -- Recreation & Park  
Updates  
Bobby Yevich, Recreation Director, spoke on the Springfest and Arbor Day celebration;  
continued with the discussion of community partnerships; Belleair Garden Club; summer  
classes and activities; discussion regarding classes and engaging for age related  
activities. BCF partnerships. Ms. Rettstatt spoke on concerts; donations from the BCF.  
Mr. Yevich and Kevin Trapp, Recreation Supervisor, discussed summer camps;  
interviewing new counselors.  
Mr. Yevich spoke on the tennis court complex resurfacing; pickleball courts on court 3;  
BCF interested in assisting financially.  
Mr. Yevich discussed Saturday hours for the Dimmitt Community Center.  
Mr. Yevich provided an update on the active park management Checklist/summer park  
plans; draft inspection checklist has been created; received input from PRT board,  
Town Attorney, Police Department, Recreation Department and Publics Works/Parks  
Department; Active Parks: Hallet, Hunter, Doyle/Wall, Tackett, Thompson, Winston,  
Pinellas, once completed; athletic fields; Rec in a box.  
Commissioner Chaney discussed the postponement on Pinellas Park concept design  
due to resident feedback. Ms. Hefele discussed different ideas, more benches, less  
concrete; Florida native plants/colorful and eye-catching; signature trees.  
Mr. Bodeker spoke on electrical boxes; working on pricing (Charter and Spectrum); box  
location to better hide; light post by boxes being moved.  
Mr. Yevich stated that they will operate with the Strategic Plan in mind.  
OTHER BUSINESS  
Mr. Yevich stated we should always operate with the Strategic Plan in mind.  
Ms. Rettstatt spoke regarding meeting a resident who wanted to trim area on Bluff; need  
to send message to residents in the Bluff regarding trimming/landscaping changes to  
Bluff.

COMMISSION ADVISOR REPORT  
Commissioner Chaney stated this was Mrs. White's last meeting; thanked her for her  
service; actively searching for a Town Manager.
