Belleair Country Club Major Development - West Course Improvements
Summary:
Belleair Country Club is requesting major development approval for modification & renovation of the existing 18 hole west course. This project triggers major development review due to it being over five acres. No buildings are being proposed, and the site is to remain a golf course. In addition, the use of the leased parcel on Bayview will be improved during this project. Work to be done will include major site grading, drainage, irrigation installation, surface contouring and restoration as appropriate for a golf course.
The applicant has secured all necessary environmental permits require by external agencies. After conferring with Chris Brimo, Town Planner, these improvements have been deemed to be in compliance with Belleair’s Land Development Code, please find his memo attached. Planning and Zoning did not hear this item as it does require any change to the official land use map and the code requires only a public hearing by the Town Commission.
Attached are documents pertaining to all activities of this development, such as drainage impacts, gas facility estimates, boundary surveys, geotechnical reports, and more.
