Special Relief Permit Request: Belleair Community Foundation Salute Our Veterans Event
Belleair Community Foundation is hosting Salute Our Veterans event on Saturday, November 6 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Event includes ceremony, raising of the flags, entertainment, and bounce house obstacle course, food & drinks for sale,.
Site plan includes locations of BCF trailer, inflatable bounce house, tent, cornhole, Sonny’s BBQ, Mr. Bill’s Fine Foods, band, and portolet.
Applicant is requesting relief of the following:
-Requesting southbound closure of The Mall starting at 1:30 pm.
-Request for selling of alcoholic beverages.
Requesting usage of town equipment: street barricades, green barricades, stage flats (4 sections), trash cans (6), fox fury portable lights.
-Requesting installation of mini-lights in the ligustrum trees around fountain
-Requesting temporary signage of (6) yard signs to be placed at Hunter Memorial Park two weeks prior to the event.
-Requesting parking BCF trailer at 1705 Laurel Road 1 day prior to event and 2 days after event to clean/load trailer for event.
