Title: Resolution Number 2021 - 10 Establishing the Park, Recreation and Tree Board Summary: At the request of the Commission, staff has drafted a resolution combining the duties of the Recreation and Park& Tree boards. The new Park, Recreation, and Tree (PRT) board may take up any item previously under the purview of either board. It will act as the tree board for purposes of the Tree City USA program. It shall consist of seven members. Six shall be appointed to two-year terms. One member shall be a member of the Belleair teen council and will serve for a one-year term. For the initial year, the Mayor will select three seats to also serve an initial one-year term. If approved the nomination period would begin immediately and members would be appointed at the May 18 meeting
