This is the second public hearing for the adopting of the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Town Budget.

Previous Commission Action: The Town Commission approved a maximum millage preliminary rate of 6.5000 for the town and reviewed the budget in August. All budgets are balanced. Please see the attached sheets for more detailed information.

 

Background/Problem Discussion: See attachments.

 

Financial Implications: The total town-wide budget is 16,083,318. Major Budget totals are as follows:

•                     General Fund is $7,081,485,

•                     Water Fund is 1,773,200

•                     Solid Waste Fund is $1,046,619

•                     The Infrastructure Fund is $4,907,214

 

Recommendation:  Final approval of Resolution 2020-19, Adopting the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Town Budget.

 

Proposed Motion:  Move final approval of Resolution 2020-19, Adopting the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Town Budget.
