Summary:
Ms. Kerin Kiser, the property owner of 422 Woodlawn Avenue is applying to the Historic Preservation Board and the Commission to place her home on the Town of Belleair Historic Registry. Previous Commission Action: On November 13, 2018 the Historic Preservation Board unanimously approved adding 422 Woodlawn Avenue to the Historic Registry.
On July 24, 2018, the Historic Preservation Board received its final report from JMT that included research and documentation on 51 properties and structures in Town that JMT nominated for placement on the Town's Historic Registry.

As one of these properties was 422 Woodlawn Avenue, the applicant now wishes to follow through with JMT's nomination to place her home on Belleair's registry.

Background/Problem Discussion: Ms. Kiser's minimal traditional style home at 422 Woodlawn Avenue was built in 1948 in the Bidwell's Wildwood Park subdivision, and was nominated by JMT in 2018 for placement on Belleair's Historic Registry.

Per the attached Florida Master Site File Form for this property, 422 Woodlawn Avenue is distinguishable by its front entry porch, widely overhanging eaves, and double-hung sash windows. This dwelling displays the typical form and massing of the minimal traditional style along with a low-pitch, cross-gable roof. The applied portico adds a detail that is more ornamental that is typical for a minimal traditional home, adding some uniqueness.
