Approval of Artwork for Magnolia and Wall Park
Summary:
The Belleair Community Foundation (BCF) is proposing the following designs as public art installations in Magnolia and Wall parks. If approved, the BCF will purchase the art for installation later this year. All pieces will be securely placed, and are able to be moved prior to tropical events. The two sculptures attached will be in place of the previously approved two metal art sculptures. The two new proposed pieces are from local artist Clayton Swartz. Please see the attached pictures for the exact pieces. End

Previous Commission Action: The Commission previously the site plans for Magnolia and Wall Parks as well as public art pieces on 02/06/2018.
Background/Problem Discussion: Sourcing issues necessitated a change of artwork.
Expenditure Challenges: N/A, The BCF is purchasing and subsequently donating the art to the town.
Recommendation: Staff recommends approval
Proposed Motion: Move approval/denial of the proposed artwork for placement in Magnolia and Wall Park.
