Background/Problem Discussion: The Town received a grant from FEMA for a generator, which totaled $131,250. The Town first solicited bids in September and received two responses. The lowest bid was by Zabatt Engine Services, Inc at $156,938.02.
Financial Implications: The Town Commission may choose to award a contract to Zabatt Engine Services, Inc. for the installation of a new generator at the cost of $156,938.02. Staff expects this cost to remain stable.
Recommendation: Award of contract to Zabatt Engine Services, Inc.
Proposed Motion: Move award of Installation of Generator to Zabatt Engine Services, Inc for the amount of one hundred fifty-six thousand nine hundred thirty-eight and 02/100. ($156,938.02)
