Resolution 2018-42: Naming of Doyle Park
Summary:
Pending the upcoming finalization of Pat Wall Park and the currently-named Magnolia Park (both located off of Rosery Road), the Belleair Community Foundation (BCF) is requesting the renaming of Magnolia Park in honor of the Doyle Family. Hence, the attached resolution has been prepared by Town staff and the BCF in order to formally re-named Magnolia Park to “Doyle Park.”

Previous Commission Action: In April of 2017, the Commission approved Town Policy #7.1: Naming Policy which establishes rules and standards for the naming of any Public Facility, Public Space, or Memorial Structure within the Town of Belleair.
Background/Problem Discussion: The Doyle family has been a long-time benefactor of the Town of Belleair, as their philanthropy and generosity have improved our Town’s facilities, infrastructure, and staff in countless ways. As a way to show appreciation for the family’s kindness, the BCF would like to request a park being named in their honor.
