Award of Bid 18-1: Engineer of Record Professional Services
Summary:
In response to the RFP, town staff reviewed sixteen proposals over five public hearings and short-listed eight firms. Based on in person interviews of the eight firms, the following engineering firms were selected in ranked order, to negotiate contracts:
1. Jones Edmunds
2. McKim and Creed
3. Cardno TBE
4. RS&H
5. Pennoni

Background/Problem Discussion: Our continuing service contracts with our existing slate of engineering firms have expired.

Financial Implications: N/A
Recommendation: I recommend that the commission selects the following five firms to award continuing service contracts. Town staff will ultimately make a recommendation to the Commission to name one firm to act as the Primary Engineer of Record for the Town, but staff wishes to engage with all the above firms.
Proposed Motion I move to award continuing service contracts to Jones Edmunds, McKim & Creed, Cardno, RS&H and Pennoni, and further allow the Town Attorney and Town Manager to negotiate and execute continuing service contracts with the five selected firms.
