Summary:
The commission appoints members to its advisory boards annually to fill expiring terms and also confirms continued membership of non-expiring members.

Previous Commission Action: Last year the Park and Tree Board and Recreation Board member terms were all set to expire on May 31, 2018. Since the commission has decided to retain both boards, the member terms have been set to resume the prior term staggering as indicated on the attached member listing.

Recommendation: Staff requests each commissioner to review the list of advisory board members. Each commission advisor is asked to contact their respective board members to confirm that they would like to continue service. New nominations should be submitted to the clerk by May 9, 2018 to be considered for appointment. Resolutions will be brought forward for approval at the May 15, 2018 regular meeting.
