Summary:
On June 13, 1993, on the midnight shift, Officer Tackett received a call of a suspicious noise. Upon arrival he found a subject attempting to break into an occupied condominium. While placing the subject under arrest, a struggle ensued and Officer Tackett was shot and killed with his duty weapon.
