Previous Commission Action: The Town Commission reviewed the proposed budget during the last two Commission meetings; 7/15/2026 & 9/3/2026.
Background/Problem Discussion: Annually, the Town Commission must approve the Town Budget which is developed to meet the operational and reserve requirements of the Town. This year’s budget is based on a millage rate of 6.9777, which is the same as the previous two years.
Expenditure Challenges Providing sufficient funds for the operational needs and reserves for unexpected events
Financial Implications: The budget must be adopted by the Town Commission to conduct Town business and maintain compliance with Florida Statutes. The budget is balanced in all funds and maintains strong fund reserves.
Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of the Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
Proposed Motion I move approval of Resolution 2026-13 adopting the Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
