Per the Charter the Town Commission is required to have a line of succession.End

Previous Commission Action: The Commission tabled this item at their June 2, 2020 meeting until members resumed in-person attendance. The line of succession was most recently identified in 2019 under Resolution 2019-03.

 

Background/Problem Discussion: Consistent with Rule 13 of the Commission Procedures Resolution., the Mayor and each Commissioner will be provided a ballot at the meeting where they will identify their preferred line of succession on the ballot. A sample ballot is included.

Recommendation:  Staff recommends approval

 

Proposed Motion  I move approval of Resolution 2020-13 setting the line of succession from second position to fifth position as (Enter Name, Enter Name, Enter Name, Enter Name).
