Belleair Country Club East Course Renovation
Summary:
The Belleair Country Club is proposing to renovate their east course. The Planning and Zoning Board will not hear this item because the project does not require a change to the official land use map, and the code requires only a public hearing by the Town Commission. This item was continued at the July 15th meeting.
The project does include major site grading, drainage, irrigation, relocation of utilities, and restoration, however, at this time they are only pursuing a permit for utility work, which includes water, sewer, gas, and electricity. They will come forward with a full permit for construction (outside of utilities) in the spring, which is when they plan to begin earthwork and renovation.
At this time, the applicant is awaiting necessary environmental permits from external agencies and a complete utility packet. The applicant has requested approval contingent upon submittal of these final items.

Recommendation: Staff recommends approval contingent upon receipt of the required documentation from all the other connected agencies, and receipt and approval by all responsible parties.
