Previous Commission Action: Town Commission previously approved the purchase of a Ford F-150 for the Police Department.
Background/Problem Discussion: The Police Department was able to locate and purchase a Ford F-150 4x4 at pricing based on the Florida Sheriff’s Association contract. This budget amendment would use Capital Equipment Replacement Fund set aside for next year’s replacement for this year. This purchase was made early due to the limited supply of vehicles over the next 18-24 months, and before government incentive programs evaporate.
Financial Implications: The budget amendment details are enclosed.
