Approval of Street Light Pole Order
Summary:
Staff is requesting the approval of the order of Street Light Poles in the amount of $49,500. The order requires commission approval due to purchasing thresholds. The order is for 38 poles at a cost of $1,150 each. Approximately 20 will be used for capital projects, the remainder will be used for stock in hand. In order to save on freight costs 38 poles is the maximum we can put on a truck. The purchase will be made from fund 305, Capital Projects. The item is impractical to award on a bid basis due to the size, shape and color needing to be identical to existing poles.
