Detective Allison Daniels has been with BPD for almost 18 years, she began her law enforcement career in 2006 with the St. Petersburg police department. She was then recruited to Belleair by Retired Chief Bill Sohl who taught Allison in the police academy and worked with her at St. Pete PD. In early 2023 she was assigned to our Criminal Investigations Unit as our detective where she currently works. She is a state certified Crime Prevention Practitioner and serves as our Towns CPR instructor for all employees. Daniels passed the Sgts Exam and made the list of eligibility in October of last year. This evening, she is receiving a much deserved and hard-earned promotion to the rank of Sgt. She will have her new badge pinned on by her son Greyson while her family including her husband John (PCSO deputy), Uncle John (retired Daytona Beach Shores Police Department) her parents Susan and Patrick Ward look on.
