Discussion of alternate dates for Belleair Sunset 5K & Fun Run
Summary:
The Belleair Sunset 5K & Fun Run is scheduled be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 5:00 pm. with appropriate safety protocols for start/finish lines and post race party. Due to a recent increase in COVID cases many local races have either postponed or canceled running events in the early part of 2021. The Recreation Department would like to amend the date of the race to be later in the spring. The following dates have been proposed by staff and are open for discussion:
1. Saturday March 6
2. Saturday March 27
3. Saturday April 10
