Community Engagement Organizational Chart Restructure Proposal
Summary:
The Director of Community Engagement is proposing a restructure to the Recreation Department’s organizational chart based on the needs of the department. Specifically, there are two proposed reclassifications: 1) Recreation Supervisor to Recreation Manager, and 2) Recreation Programmer II to Recreation Coordinator (please see attached Organizational Chart for more detail). These two positions include additional responsibilities (please see second attachment for more detail). These two positions would be posted. The position of Special Events Coordinator will not be replaced.

Town Commission previously approved the revised Town of Belleair Organizational Chart.

Please see the attached documents “Belleair.ReStructure_Proposal_TC_4.5.22” and “Belleair.Reclassifications_Additional_Duties_TC_4.5.22” for more detail regarding the proposal.

Financial Implications:
Approximate potential savings to the Town of Belleair General Fund = $33,804.00
Recommendation:
At the March 21, 2022 Park, Recreation, and Tree Board meeting, the Community Engagement Organizational Chart Restructure Proposal was viewed favorably by the Board.

I move to approve the Community Engagement Restructure and positing of positions.
