Background/Problem Discussion: As part of the ongoing capital improvements in Town, staff solicited bids to install trees and irrigation improvements in two long sections of median along Ponce de Leon Blvd. The Town received two bids and the lowest bid was for $37,534.00. Staff has reviewed the information submitted and is requesting that the contract be awarded to Buccaneer Landscape Management, the apparent low bidder. A copy of the bid tabulation sheet, recommendation of award, and a map of the project area are enclosed for your review.
Recommendation: Award of contract PW 21-1 Ponce Medians to Buccaneer Landscape Management in the amount of Thirty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars ($37,534.00).
