Resolution 2024-08 Declaring Commission Seats, 2024
Summary:
The qualifying period for the March 19, 2024, election was held from November 28, 2023, through December 13, 2023. During that time, the number of qualified candidates was equal to the number of open seats. Per Florida Statute, unopposed candidates’ names shall not appear on a ballot as they are deemed to have voted for themselves. Due to this provision, Belleair did not have a municipal election, and the seats/terms are hereby declared by this resolution.
