Title: Second Reading of Ordinance 590 - Adopting Official Seal Summary: The Town has an official seal that is utilized for authenticating official documents, and currently exists only in an embosser format, thus necessitating the need for a redesign. Florida Statute 165.043 provides that the governing body of a county or municipality may, by ordinance, designate an official county or municipal seal. The new design is presented on Exhibit A of the proposed ordinance. Approval is requested to assist officials and employees in the performance of their official duties.
