Budget Calendar FY 2024/2025 Revision and Budget Update
Summary:
Annually, the Finance Department is required to submit a calendar of dates for the preparation of the Town’s Annual Budget including the dates of the Pinellas County BOCC and School Board meetings. In addition, the calendar includes budget deadlines and meetings scheduled with the Finance Advisory Board.
Finance Director, Tina Porter, will provide a verbal update on the budget process.

Previous Commission Action: The budget calendar was presented at the February 13, 2024 meeting.
Background/Problem Discussion: The Budget Calendar provides an overview to the Commission of important dates and details regarding the preparation of the budget. The Town is required to adhere to certain hearing dates and deadlines in order to meet statutory requirements for submitting the annual budget and proposed millage rates. The Finance Advisory Board also has meetings to review the proposed budget and provide comments to the Commission.
