Title: Special Relief Permit - Clearwater Running Festival Summary: This is an event to be held on Sunday, January 31st. This event has changed from the traditional format into a time trial event, meaning that the runners will be dispersed at separate intervals. This is also a qualifying event. While this event usually begins in Coachman Park in Clearwater, the construction of the park means that the start and finish point has been relocated to Pier 60 Park in Clearwater Beach, though the route in Belleair remains unchanged. Portions of the Half Marathon, Marathon, and Ultra Marathon run through Belleair. This is estimated to be around mile 4 to 7 in the Half Marathon and miles 17 to 20 in the Marathon events. There are no road closures, though the event team will create a runner lane through the routes. The only impact to the Town would be rolling closers as participants run into and through town areas.
