Previous Commission Action: Commission has previously discussed and approved prior Capital Improvement Plans.
Background/Problem Discussion: At this time, McKim & Creed has completed the newest CIP, forecasting out to 2027 and beyond. In 2021-2022, the expected cost of projects total to $5,062,986. The projects within the period are as follows:
• Ponce from Roundabout to Trail (Professional Services)
• Carl Road (Construction)
• Indian Rocks Road - Mehlenbacher to Poinsettia (Construction)
• Belleair Creek - Ponce to Bridge (Study)
• Winston Dr. Bridge Repair (Professional Services and Construction)
• North Pine Circle Bridge Repairs (Professional Services and Construction)
• Thompson Park (Professional Services and Construction)
• Winston Park (Professional Services and Construction)
• The Bluff (Study)
Expenditure Challenges: Fiscal details are provided within the attached documents.
Recommendation: Staff recommends tentative approval of the 2021 Master Capital Improvement Plan.
