Special Relief Permit - Summer Kickoff Bash Sip N Slide
Summary:
The Belleair Recreation Department is seeking a special relief permit for their Summer Kickoff Bash Sip N Slide event on Friday, May 15 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at the Dimmitt Community Center athletic fields. The event will feature bounce houses and slides for the kids ($10 wristband required). Alcohol and food will be available for purchase. The Recreation Department is obtaining a temporary alcohol permit. Temporary closure of Varona Street is requested from 3:30pm to 9:00pm.
Assistance is requested from Public Works for setup and waste management and from Police for event security. Further details and a site map of the event can be found in the attached permit application.
Code relief requests include: Serving alcohol on public property, street vending, temporary road closure, and temporary signage.
