Title: Resolution 2026-01 Vacating Easement at 150 Palmetto Road Summary: The applicant owns a large property that extends from Bayview Drive to Palmetto Road. The address was recently changed to Palmetto Road to accommodate a re-orientation of the structure to face east. They are requesting a vacation of a 221-foot-long easement (between 5 and 10 feet wide) in order to relocate the sanitary sewer line which will be moved by Pinellas County Utilities. The Public Works Department has reviewed the request and determined that the existing easement no longer serves a purpose and vacating it won't impact any public utilities or surrounding properties. Approval of the resolution will formally vacate the easement and allow the property owner to proceed with the planned improvements.
