Ordinance 532, Authorizing Sale of #2 Baybrook Place.

Summary:
The Commission at the 05/05/20, regular meeting accepted an offer of $1,385,000 to purchase #7 and #2 Baybrook Place. All town owned property must be disposed of by Ordinance. This Ordinance approves the sale of the property to Richard R. Dimmitt Revocable Trust. The purchase sale agreement is attached. We are in receipt of the deposit held in escrow, and following approval of the Ordinance on second reading, the property will close, as it is a cash sale. The buyer has agreed to pay all closing costs, excluding brokerage commissions.

Previous Commission Action: Please refer to items: 19-0107, 19-0280, 18-0247, 19-0217, 19-0343, 20-0021 and 20-0088 for a complete history. This offer was accepted as part of a “blind bid” process as agreed upon by the Town Commission.
Recommendation: I recommend approval of the sale and Ord. 532 on first reading.
