Historic Preservation Education Campaign
Summary:
Staff would like to launch an educational campaign regarding the Town’s historic preservation process. Several residents have said the process is arduous, however, when utilized appropriately it can actually be quite efficient.
Staff are asking the Board to discuss ideas to further educate the public about the process. Some initial thoughts are:
• Brochures for the Building Department
• Online education
• Mailers regarding the registry and eligibility
