Summary:
This will carry over funds for projects budgeted in the prior fiscal year to be completed this year and provide funding to repair the backup generator for the water treatment plant.

Background/Problem Discussion: Last fiscal year the Town Commission approved several projects that are continuing into the current fiscal year. In the Water Fund there are ongoing projects related to reverse osmosis feasibility, hydraulic modeling, and a potential injection well. In General Fund, there are several other projects including facility security improvements that will be completed in the current fiscal year.
The backup generator for the water treatment plant is in need of repairs totaling roughly $32,000. Because of the urgent need to complete these repairs this work will be performed without collecting multiple bids as an emergency purchase. The Town has worked with Paramount for many years for generator maintenance, and the company is very familiar with the equipment and necessary repairs.
