Title: Discussion of Legislative Priorities Summary: The Florida League of Cities 2019 Legislative Action Agenda is included for discussion as is the current session's legislative agenda. Staff will utilize the discussion to draft the town's legislative priorities for the year. Our previous year's efforts, while ultimately unsuccessful at the Governor's office, did gain incredible support in the Legislature. We hope to continue those efforts this year. We will continue to request funds for the Reverse Osmosis Pilot study, we staff believes has a good chance at approval based on the Legislature's focus on water quality. I will take input from our discussion at the meeting to work with our consultant on additional strategies and target projects that may have a better chance at approval from the Governor's Office.
