Contract for Engineering and Design of a Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant
Summary:
If DEP approves the application for a 100% forgiveness loan to engineer and design a reverse osmosis water treatment plant, we will require engineering services for the plant. A Request for Qualifications was conducted, the application was reviewed and scored, and McKim and Creed was found to be a responsive bidder.

Previous Commission Action: The Commission authorized the Town Manager to negotiate the terms of the agreement.
Financial Implications: If the loan is approved, the Town will be responsible for the 2% Administrative Fee, which will be paid from the Water Department Enterprise Fund.
Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of the contract with McKim and Creed, subject to the FDEP approval of the loan to cover the cost.
