Consideration of BCC Land Lease Amendment for 90 extension of permitting.
Summary: The Belleair Country Club is requesting a lease amendment that would provide for an additional 90 days to secure the necessary permits. The BCC’s FLDEP 404 permit is in process but has not yet been granted. Accordingly the Approvals period for the lease would expire on 08/04/21 without the extension.

Recommendation: I recommend the extension, pending language that only permits refund of the deposit if and only if their permits are outright denied by a permitting agency.
