Solid Waste Rate Schedule for FY26
Summary:
The Pinellas County Solid Waste Disposal fee is scheduled to increase 8.0% effective 10/01/2025.
Recycling service provided by Waste Pro is scheduled to increase 4.0% effective 10/01/2025.
Special Pickup Rates for yard waste and bulk waste are being updated to tiered pricing based on quantity of material and time. The following rates represent a 5% increase, except for Special Pickups, which are more reflective of the cost to perform the service.

Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of proposed Solid Waste Rate Schedule for FY26.
Proposed Motion: Move to approve Solid Waste Rate Schedule for FY26 and incorporate rates into the ordinance that will come before Commission in September.
