Summary:

The Pinellas County Utility Rates for FY26 reflect a 5.0% increase in Wholesale Water Rates and 4.0% increase Retail Sewer Rates. Staff recommends a 5.0% rate increase to the Residential/Multi-Family and Non-Residential Water Base Rate, Tier Usage Rate and Multi-meter Rate. Staff also recommends a 4.0% rate increase to the Sewer Base Rate and Tier Usage Rates.

Previous Commission Action: The Water Rate and Sewer Rate Schedules were reviewed and approved for FY25.

 

Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of proposed Water Rate and Sewer Rates Schedules for FY26.

 

Proposed Motion: Move to approve the recommended Water and Sewer Rate Schedule for FY26 and incorporate the new rates into the ordinance which will come before the Commission in September.
