Resolution 2025-06 Declaring Commission Seats, 2024
Summary:
The qualifying period for the March 11, 2025, election was held from November 27, 2024, through December 17, 2024. During that time, the number of qualified candidates was equal to the number of open seats. Per Florida Statute, unopposed candidates’ names shall not appear on a ballot as they are deemed to have voted for themselves. Due to this provision, Belleair did not have a municipal election, and the seats/terms are hereby declared by this resolution.
