Centennial Updates
Summary:
The historic tour is being finalized. Staff will present a map for the full board's review. Some members have already attended the tour in person.
We are currently reviewing historic markers to install around town. We have also reached out to the City of Clearwater for two markers that are related to Belleair's history.
Research is still being conducted on how to best open the time capsules. The Belleair Garden Club has agreed to us retrieving the capsule from the original Town Hall structure.
Staff are requesting further ideas for the celebration of the town's centennial from the board.
