2025 Centennial Year
Summary:
The Town’s centennial is coming in 2025 and will extend into the next fiscal year. Staff plans to bring some celebration ideas to the board and also request ideas for community engagement from the board members. Some ideas that have been identified are as follows:
• Time capsule (new and recovering previous capsule)
• Bike tour of historic homes or areas
• Historical presentations
• Reviving engagement in the historic registry
• Renovation project for the eagle statues
