Second Reading of Ordinance 576 Driveways and Access Points
Summary:
This ordinance amends the Land Development Code to include a definition for circular driveways, as well as amending design standards and requirements for access points and circular driveways. Passed on fist reading on August 13, 2024.
The ordinance has been revised since first reading to include the below language as a staff recommended clarification to section 74-155 (3):
f. Driveway flares at the street may be added to the allowable width provided they do not add more than two (2) feet to the width of each driveway, and extend no further than three (3) feet from street entry.
Recommendation: Staff recommends approval.
Proposed Motion: Move approval of Ordinance 576 on second and final reading.
